Recreating prestigious golf courses of the world
ALPENSIA 700 GOLF CLUBThis steep uphill par 4 hole with a hazard on the right side is a peaceful hole that is in harmony with the nature-friendly streamlet. The target of the tee shot should be towards the left bunker, but many slices occur which will make the journey to the green a rough one. The green narrow in width and long in length requires an elaborate sense of direction, and it is advisable to play three-on strategy if you lack the assurance of having long shots with two clubs in order to handle the significant distance that remains.
· Holding the British Open for a total of eight times, it is the most challenging course among the nine holes in the second half.
· The left side of the fairway is famous for its thornbushes, which is known for attracting the hole like a magnet.
· This hole is characterized by the four bunkers in a symmetrical figure on both sides at the point of IP.
· Teeing ground is placed high on the sand hill.
· Since there is available space on the left side between the tee and IP, it was inevitable to make this area symmetrical.
· This is because the players would have mental pressure due to the pond situated at the front of the tee, so the environment for making comfortable tee shot was made by widening the space from the tee to IP.
