Recreating prestigious golf courses of the world
ALPENSIA 700 GOLF CLUBThis par 4 hole with a steep uphill topography makes for a difficult the tee shot as the ball should pass over the natural habitat in front of the tee box. The ideal direction for the tee shot is to the left bunker on the right side of the fairway. The long and narrow green, and the bunkers lined up on both sides do not allow you to reach the green easily. The right judgment is to estimate the distance by two clubs longer.
· It is the most challenging course among the golf courses from the PGA Tour Championship in 2005.
· Also called as ‘caldron green’ because of the protrude center of the green.
· The left side of the green is almost perpendicularly attached with a bunker that has about 1.5m depth, and the right side of the green which looks like a humpback is arranged with four bunkers and close-cut rough with hollow topography.
· The play line of the original hole is slightly positioned towards the right, while the topography of the target zone is crooked towards left, so it was inevitable to make the hole symmetrical.
· Since the distance between the tee and the starting location of the fairway is long, the L/T is moved to the front.
· The first hole became easy due to the removal of the blind to the green that was located on the upward hill that starts from the fairway through the green.
